Our approach to intellectual property

Fellowapothecary values creativity and the rights of original creators. If you believe content on our website infringes your copyright, we will review and act on properly submitted notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and comparable notice-and-takedown principles. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material while we evaluate a claim. We are here to help and aim to resolve matters efficiently and fairly.

Filing a notice (DMCA takedown request)

To help us locate the content quickly and assess your claim, a valid DMCA notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with precise information sufficient to locate the material on our site (for example, the full URL of the product or image page).
  4. Your contact information, including full name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay our review. Submitting additional context (such as registration numbers or comparative references) can help us verify your claim, though it is not required.

Where to send your notice

Please send your notice by email to: [email protected]. Email is the fastest way for us to receive and respond.

Counter‑notification

If your content was removed or disabled as a result of a notice and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter‑notification. A valid counter‑notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good‑faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts for your address, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of such person.

Send your counter‑notification to: [email protected]. Upon receipt of a valid counter‑notification, we may restore the material unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the activity, within the time allowed by law.

Repeat infringer policy

We take repeat infringement seriously. Where appropriate and at our discretion, we may limit, suspend, or terminate access to our services for users who are found to be repeat infringers. We may also remove content and disable listings to protect rights holders while we review ongoing claims. We are here to help and encourage all parties to use this process responsibly.

Additional notes

We may share copies of notices and counter‑notices with the parties involved as part of our evaluation. Submissions should not include unnecessary personal data. This policy does not constitute legal advice; you may wish to consult an attorney regarding your rights and obligations.
